The Haifa District Court sentenced an Arab-Israeli resident of the northern Israeli town of Kfar Yasif to five years in prison for traveling illegally to Syria and joining the ranks of Al-Nusra Front. The court verdict shows that the resident traveled outside of Israel illegally and entered Syria, staying there for about six months. During his stay in Syria, the resident took part in practice and military training for the Al-Nusra Front.
