The rioting and unrest continue to simmer on Friday as police and Arab rioters clashed in numerous townships and cities, among them Rahat, Umm al-Fahm, and Nazareth.

Masked men hurled stones and burned tires at police, who responded with tear gas and other crowd-dispersal methods.
