The Israeli man who was killed in a hit-and-run truck incident near a Palestinian village in the Hebron area on Tuesday has been identified by authorities as Avraham Asher Hasnu.

Hasnu, 54, was a resident of Kiryat Arba and Hebron.

According to an initial check by security forces, Palestinians hurled rocks at Hasnu's car. He stopped the vehicle, got out, and was struck by the truck.

He was critically injured, and attempts by paramedics to resuscitate him at the scene near the village of Al-Fawar failed.
