A man was shot dead in Lod as he walked in the city's Rehov Hellen Keller on Saturday night.


The gunshot victim, described by police as a resident of a Beduin community, was taken to the Assaf Harofe Medical Center in Tzriffin in critical condition, and died soon afterward of his injuries. 


Police have launched a homicide investigation.
