Beersheba cancels school again due to rocket attacks

Municipal authorities in Beersheba announced Thursday that school would be canceled on Friday a week after the assassination of a terrorist leader in the Gaza Strip sparked an escalation in violence between Gaza and Israel.

The announcement was made hours after a Grad rocket fired from Gaza was intercepted by the Iron Dome as it followed its trajectory towards Beersheba.

Other municipalities and regional heads had yet to decide whether to cancel school on Friday, but would make the announcement Thursday afternoon, according to Army Radio.
