An explosion was heard on Tuesday in a Gaza Strip refugee camp where Hamas security forces were trying to arrest the suspected killers of a pro-Palestinian Italian activist, witnesses said.
The cause of the blast, followed by heavy gunfire, was not immediately clear. It followed the collapse of negotiations for the surrender of the suspected killers of Vittorio Arrigoni, who was found strangled on Friday.
