Boaz Harpaz to be prosecuted in Galant affair

The State Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday announced its decision to prosecute Boaz Harpaz in relation to the forging of the central document in the Galant affair," which was created in order to affect the process of appointing the IDF chief of general staff. Maj.- Gen. Yoav Galant was successful appointed to the command amid the affair.

In coordination with the IDF judge advocate general, the prosecutors decided not to prosecute the other army personnel involved in the case. There was insufficient evidence of criminal activity, according to the statement.
