An explosion ripped through a vehicle in Kiryat Motzkin, police said Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported, though one person suffered from shock.

The vehicle, which was in a parking lot, was registered to a 32-year-old resident of the area. Police said the attack was criminally motivated.

A police bomb squad scoured the blast scene, collecting evidence and searching for additional explosives.

Authorities sealed off Rehov Goshen, where the blast occurred.
