Approximately 30 right-wing activists erected a new outpost called Mitzpe Ami late Friday afternoon, near the West Bank settlement of Kedumim. While border policemen evacuated most of the activists, a small number were still on the site at the beginning of Shabbat, when the evacuation was halted. There were reports of violence, with some settlers throwing rocks at security forces and passing Palestinian vehicles.
