An IDF force prevented an illegal entry into the country on Sunday when it shot a Syrian herder who crossed the border from Lebanon near Har Dov, IDF Spokesperson reported. There is no fence on that part of the mountain and the force chased the man, at one point the man moved as if he is about to use a weapon and one soldier shot him. No weapon was found on his person. The man was injured and evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Health Care Campus.
