British Foreign Secretary William Hague said that he "deplores the loss of life during the interception of the Gaza Flotilla," in a Monday press release.
Hague added that Britain had "consistently advised against attempting to access Gaza in this way, because of the risks involved."
He spoke of the importance of investigating the incident to ensure that enough was done to prevent deaths and injuries.
