The cabinet on Sunday unanimously approved the appointment of former Mossad deputy head Yossi Cohen as Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's National Security Advisor.
Cohen, 52, is a 30 year veteran of the Mossad. He will take over from Ya'akov Amidror, who has served in that position for some two-and-a-half years.
Cohen will begin taking over from Amidror in the next few weeks, a process that is expected to last a couple months.
