An Iranian missile landed close to Israel’s largest power station in the coastal city of Hadera, the IDF confrimed to The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday, after sirens sounded across Israel during several waves of Iranian missile strikes.

A fire broke out near Hadera after the missile reportedly landed in an open area, according to international and Hebrew media reports.

The Israel Electric Corporation said later on Wednesday that, despite reports, no damage was done to its infrastructure in the region as a result of the impact.

No injuries or casualties were reported following the wave of strikes.

Shrapnel impacts were also reported throughout the Sharon region.

Magen David Adom (MDA) said its first responders rushed to at least seven sites of suspect shrapnel impacts across central Israel. No injuries were reported in Wednesday morning's barrages.

Separately, earlier in northern Israel, air defenses chased a drone for approximately 30 minutes in the Upper and Lower Galilee before it was eventually intercepted.

After the series of Iranian strikes on Wednesday, Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets into northern Israel.

No casualties were reported, however, two middle-aged men received treatment for shrapnel injuries, as stated by MDA.
