The cabinet was due to vote Sunday on the bill for ultra-Orthodox enlistment formulated and approved by the Peri Committee.The controversial bill includes provision for haredi national and military service, and has sparked ire from the ultra-Orthodox community. If endorsed by the cabinet vote, the bill would then be presented to the Knesset plenum for approval.
