Cameron, Rouhani to meet in New York to discuss campaign against Islamic State

British Prime Minister David Cameron will meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week, according to The Guardian.

The two leaders are expected to discuss the US-led military campaign against the Islamic State.

This is the first time that a British premier has met with an Iranian president since the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
