Car slams into cyclists on Route 3 killing 2

A car hit a number of cyclists traveling on Route 3 near Nahal Sorek Saturday morning. 

A team of Magen David Adom Paramedics who were dispatched to the site of the accident reported that two of the cyclists, both of them men in their 40s, were killed in the accident.

In addition, 5 other riders were injured. Two of those injured were in moderate to serious condition, and the other three sustained light injuries. All of the injured were taken to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot for treatment.
