Israel's Chief Rabbis Shlomo Amar and Yona Metzger on Tuesday called Israeli citizens to pray for the release of imprisoned Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard, who was undergoing an urgent surgical procedure Tuesday, Army Radio reported.

Pollard temporarily left his Butner, North Carolina prison for the surgery which is intended to correct a myriad of problems he is suffering from, especially with his kidneys.
