Defense industry sales in 2010 amount to $9.6 billion

Israeli defense industry sales in 2010 amounted to $9.6 billion, Army Radio reported on Wednesday.

This year's total marked a three percent increase compared to 2009.

Of all the sales, 84 percent were carried out by the Israel Aerospace Industries, Elbit Systems and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

The figures were publicized in the run up to the Paris Air Show which will take place at the end of June.
