EU denies delay on labeling of settlement products

Contrary to Israeli media reports, work on the effective enforcement of European Union legislation with regard to the labeling of settlement products "has not been delayed," a member of the Delegation of the European Union to the State of Israel said on Monday.

In a statement, David Kriss said that the EU has not been asked to postpone such work.

In December, the EU’s Foreign Affairs Council reiterated its “commitment to ensure continued, full and effective implementation of existing EU legislation and bilateral arrangements applicable to settlement products.”
