Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein spoke Monday morning with Hussein Abu Khdeir, father of murdered Arab teen Muhammad Abu Khdeir to deliver his condolences.

"We're all deeply shocked here in the Knesset by this hard-to-digest incident," he said. "No words can comfort a parent who loses their child."

Edelstein assured Abu Khdeir that justice would be carried out and that the murderers' trial would "be one that they and the country will never forget."

Edelstein also invited the family to the Knesset, telling the father that his "door is always open."
