A Muslim Brotherhood senior official said his country will help "free the al Aqsa mosque and all occupied Palestinian lands from Nazism, racism and Zionism."

In a post on his Facebook page, Dr. Issam al-Arian, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said that "the Palestinians lived in the hope that the Arab armies will fight for them, and they did fight and were defeated, and the occupied land was not freed."

He also quoted the late Egyptian president Anwar Saadat as saying the US has "99% of the solution" to the Palestinian's plight, but accused the American administration of being heavily biased towards Zionism.
