Over the weekend, the IDF struck nearly 100 Hezbollah terror targets and killed Hezbollah terrorists as Israeli troops continue to operate in southern Lebanon.
On Saturday, the military struck Hezbollah observation posts, terror infrastructure, and a weapons storage facility.
The IDF then successfully intercepted two Hezbollah drones that were flying in an area where Israeli soldiers are operating. Sirens were sounded in northern Israel due to concerns that debris from the interception could fall into Israeli territory.
Hezbollah also launched rockets and mortar shells towards IDF troops in southern Lebanon, which fell near the soldiers but caused no injuries.
On Friday, the IDF killed two Hezbollah terrorists identified as operating in a structure adjacent to where rockets were launched towards Israeli troops.
After the strikes killed the terrorists, secondary explosions occurred in the structure, indicating the presence of weapons.
IDF locates additional Hezbollah weapons storage
The IDF additionally located another Hezbollah weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon, uncovering warheads, ammunition magazines, vests, helmets, and weapon barrels.
Also on Friday, the military struck additional Hezbollah infrastructure sites in the Tyre area of southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah also fired several projectiles towards Israeli territory over the past 24 hours, including explosive drones and mortar shells. The projectiles all landed near areas in which Israeli troops are operating, but triggered no sirens in Israeli territory.
