El Al has invited the public and its employees to participate in the writing of a Torah scroll to be housed in the synagogue at the national air- line’s head office in Tel Aviv.

The Torah will be used by El Al employees and taken on flights that have a special national significance.

The project was initiated by Elyezer Shkedy, president and CEO of El Al and a former head of the Israel Air Force.
