Erdogan says Hariri tribunal findings should be postponed

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Lebanon on Wednesday and suggested that the UN tribunal investigating the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri should postpone releasing its findings for one year, Israel Radio reported.
Erdogan stated that during this one year period, regional players could act to settle other crises in the area, such as the conflict between Fatah and Hamas, and tension between some Arab states and Iran.
According to the Israel Radio report, upon landing in Beirut on Wednesday, Erdogan was met by hundreds of Armenian demonstrators, protesting Turkey's lack of acknowledgment of the alleged Armenian genocide in the early 20th century.
