Expected road closures in Jerusalem Friday due to marathon

The Jerusalem Municipality announced that the following roads and areas will be closed between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday during the Jerusalem Marathon.

Central Jerusalem: Haim Hazaz Blvd., Tchernichovsky Road, Hapalmach Road, Keren Hayesod Road, Ben Yehuda Road, Bezalel Road, Shlomtzion Hamalka Road, Gaza Road, King David Road, Jobatinsky Road, Chopin Road, Elazar Hamodai Road, Hanassi Road, Emek Rafaim Road, Duvnov Road, Bethlehem Road, Harakevet Road, Jaffa Gate, the Armenian Patriachate, Jaffa Road, Kariv Road, Hativat Yerushalaim Road, King George Road, Zion Square, Valley of the Cross, David Remez Road, Shmuel Hanagid Road and Molcho Road.

Old City and Mount Scopus: Zahal Square, Hatznanhanim Road, Bar Lev Blvd., Adam Smith Road, Martin Buber Road, Hebrew University Mount Scopus Campus, Binyamin Mazar Road, Churchill Blvd., Chel Handasa Road, and Lechi Road.

Talpiot: Hebron Road, Baram Junction, Yanovski Road, Haas Promenade, Beitar Road, Sherman Square, Yehuda Road, and Armon Hanatziv.

Givat Ram: Rupin Blvd., Hebrew University Givat Ram Campus, Natanal Lorech Road, Rabin Road, Ben Zvi Road, Nayot Road, Herzog Road, and Yavin Road.

Please note that traffic backups are expected on roads near the race.
