Explosion hits Turkish city of Izmir, ambulances dispatched

ISTANBUL - An explosion hit the Turkish Aegean coastal city of Izmir on Thursday and ambulances were dispatched to the scene, broadcaster CNN Turk said.

At least one vehicle was burning close to a courthouse in the city, CNN Turk said.
