MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud Beytenu) will host the inaugural meeting of the Knesset Caucus for a Professional Voluntary Army next Wednesday.

"Equality in the burden is a matter of public debate that threatens to tear apart Israeli society," the invitation reads. "Countless committees were formed and creative solutions suggested, but it seems that one solution disappeared from the public discourse: A professional army."

MK Yisrael Eichler (UTJ) plans to speak about the mandatory draft as a political tool meant to cause divisions in the nation.

The caucus is partnered with the Ayn Rand Center and The New Liberal Movement, as well as The Movement for a Professional Army and Manhigut Yehudit, which Feiglin founded.
