Former New York City mayor Ed Koch was moved to the intensive care unit of New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Thursday after being hospitalized Monday for a build up of fluid around his lungs, The New York Daily News reported.Koch, 88, had experienced shortness of breath and difficulty speaking as a result of the condition.The Daily News quoted Koch's spokesman as saying his cardiologist "wanted to monitor the former mayor more closely."
