Israel Police questioned a former senior adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu under caution Monday for a number of hours.

The questioning focused on whether the former adviser used his post to help his business, with possible charges being breach of trust. He was released to house arrest for five days. Former Netanyahu Knesset adviser Perach Lerner was questioned by police two months ago for allegedly helping the business of her husband, strategist Avi Lerner.
