Former Supreme Court Justice Mishael Cheshin was laid to rest Sunday evening in the cemetery at Kibbutz Givat Hashlosha in central Israel.

Cheshin passed away yesterday at the age of 79, after battling cancer.

President Reuven Rivlin, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Chief Justice Miriam Naor were present at the funeral to pay their respects.
