A man was killed and three other people were injured in a car accident on Route 4 near the Ashdod interchange on Thursday night.

Two people were moderately-to-seriously hurt and an additional person suffered light injuries.

MDA paramedics pronounced the man dead on the scene after efforts to resuscitate him failed. The injured were transferred to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot for treatment.
