The US is set to make good on a two-year-old arms deal in January when it delivers the first four of 20 F-16 fighter jets to Egypt in January, Fox News reported Tuesday.

Although the deal was inked with former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak before a revolution swept him out of power, leading to a period of political instability, Washington is holding up its end of the deal, part of a $1 billion foreign aid package.
