Friends of the IDF raises NIS 15 million for lone soldiers

Friends of the IDF (FIDF) has succeeded in raising NIS 15 million for lone soldiers in the military. The money was donated as part of the FIDF's program called "Adopt a soldier" which was celebrated last week in a festive ceremony at Latrun, attended by Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi. The project was started four years ago and encompasses all of the over 130 fighting units in the IDF.
