Gantz: IDF can attack Iranian nuclear sites on its own

April 16, 2013 08:48

The IDF has the ability to attack the Iranian nuclear sites without help from other nations, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz told Israel Radio in an interview aired Tuesday.

Gantz also said that the continued quiet on the Gaza front is a testament to the success of Operation Pillar of Defense in November of last year and added that if firing of rockets resumes, the IDF will resume its operations in the Strip and extend them.

On the West Bank front, Gantz assured that Israel is not facing a third intifada.
