BAMAKO - Gunmen attacked a restaurant in the capital of Mali and killed four people including two Europeans and two Malians, a senior intelligence official told Reuters on Saturday, adding that two people have been arrested.

French forces wrested control of Mali's desert north from separatist rebels and militants linked to al Qaida two years ago but the insurgents continue to mount attacks.
