Gunshots fired toward IDF troops patrolling border with Lebanon

Gunshots were fired in the direction of Israeli soldiers on Thursday patrolling along the border with Lebanon, according to local media reports.

The troops, who were conducting routine security patrols in the Upper Galilee, responded with gunfire, while large contingents of reinforcements were rushed to the scene, according to Channel 2 television.

No injuries or damage was reported as a result of the incident.
