Hamas spokesman Sami Sami Abu Zuhri said Sunday that the scheduled three-way meeting between US President Barack Obama, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas would be "empty." He also accused Israel and the US of "trying to pressure the Arabs into paying the political price for meetings." The Hamas spokesman accused Abbas of lying, saying he had promised not to participate in such a meeting without a full halt to settlement construction.
