Head of Hamas' political wing Khaled Mashaal announced Thursday that he will be traveling to Saudi Arabia after a three-year absence from the Islamic Kingdom.

The news comes two days after western powers signed a historic agreement with Iran which seeks to limit its potential to build nuclear weapons.

According to senior Hamas officials, Mashaal will meet with Saudi monarch King Salam along with top officials.
