A 63-year-old man who suffered from chronic illness and also was infected with H1N1 flu virus died on Tuesday at Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, becoming the 27th official Israeli victim of this flu strain. The Health Ministry said the connection between the virus and his death could not be proven, but the man was included due to its policy of recognizing those who had the infection and died as being flu victims even though they also had serious illness.
