The IDF's Home Front Command will hold a two-day drill throughout Wednesday and Thursday in the Gush Dan region of central Israel.

During the drill, soldiers will deploy smoke grenades and fireworks, and the sounds of blasts will be audible.

The exercise will take place in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givataim, Bnei Brak, Herzliya, Ramat Hasharon, Kfar Shmaryahu, Or Yehuda, Savyon, Kiryat Ono, Genei Tikva, and Givat Shmuel.

The IDF spokesman's unit said the drill is part of a planned, annual program aimed at ensuring readiness and the training of forces.
