IDF: Two army reservists killed by flipped vehicle in southern Israel

Two Israelis who died in a road accident on Thursday were identified as IDF reserve soldiers, the military cleared for publication hours after the incident.

The two were killed after the military vehicle they were traveling in overturned on a highway near the southern city of Eilat. In a statement, the IDF said it had notified and relayed its sympathies to the families of the victims.

Military police have opened an investigation into the circumstance surrounding the incident.
