The IDF deployed an Iron Dome battery in central Israel for a few days beginning Monday for testing, the IDF Spokesperson said.

During the the missile- defense system's testing process, the battery is scheduled to be placed in various areas throughout the country. Once it is tested, the system can be operated in any area.
