The IDF will impose a general closure on the West Bank and shut down Gaza border crossings on Saturday night starting at 11:59 p.m. The closure will continue throughout Remembrance Day and Independence Day, the military announced on Saturday

The decision came following instructions with the government, as well as a security evaluation, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said. The closure is due to be lifted the night of May 2, pending a security assessment.
