A senior IDF Central Command officer said the last few months have seen a decline in Palestinian violence in the West Bank, Army Radio reported Wednesday.

The officer added that OC Central Command Maj. Gen. Avi Mizrahi passed messages to Palestinian leaders warning them against incitement and calling on them not to allow violent protests.

According to the report Mizrahi told the Palestinians that protests where the IDF is pelted with Molotov cocktails can easily get out of hand and wreak havoc throughout the West Bank.
