Indian Air Force chief in Israel on official visit

India Air Force commander Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha landed in Israel on Sunday for an official visit as the guest of the IDF chief of staff, and the Israel Air Force chief, the military announced on Monday.

Raha was received by an IDF honor guard on Monday, headed by Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot at military headquarters at the Kirya, in Tel Aviv.

"This visit is a step towards strengthening cooperation between the countries," the IDF Spokesman's Unit said.
