Iran: 2 naval vessels bear message of peace to the nations

The Iranian Navy Commander Habibollah Siari said that the two Iranian naval ships that crossed the Suez Canal en route to Syria carries a message of peace to the nations of the world. The senior Iranian officials said that the two ships engaged in a joint military maneuver with Syrian navy at the Syrian port in Latika.

The Iranian ambassador in Lebanon rejected reports which claimed that the naval vessels were coming to provide Hezbollah with advanced weapons. He reiterated that the two vessels were participating in joint naval exercises.
