Iran planning to launch manned space shuttle by 2019

Iran is planning on sending its first manned shuttle into space by 2019, the Islamic Republic's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Friday, according to a Reuters report.

Ahmadinejad added that Iran's space program was being accelerated by five years in response to international resolutions passed against the country.
