DUBAI - Iran has sentenced Siamak Namazi, a US-Iranian citizen, and his father Baquer each to 10 years in jail for cooperation with the United States, an informed source was quoted as saying on Mizan, the official news website of the judiciary on Tuesday.

Siamak Namazi was detained by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in October 2015 while visiting family in Iran. His 80-year-old father, also a dual Iranian-American citizen, was arrested in February 2016.
