Iran shot down 2 western drones, Revolutionary Guard says

Iran shot down two "western drone reconnaissance" aircraft in the Persian Gulf, a senior Revolutionary Guard commander was quoted by Reuters as saying on Sunday.

"Many spy planes and advanced planes of our enemies have been shot down... We have also shot down two spy planes in the Persian Gulf," said Amir Ali Hajizadeh. "But it is the first time we are announcing it."Hajizadeh did not specify when the aircraft were shot down.
