Iran's foreign ministry to lead nuclear talks with world powers

DUBAI- Iranian president Hassan Rouhani on Thursday said the foreign ministry would lead nuclear negotiations with world powers, state news agency IRNA reported.

Negotiations have previously been conducted by the head of the country's Supreme National Security Council.IRNA provided no further details but the announcement suggests Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will either lead future talks with the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany himself or appoint another ministry official.
